New Golden Mario Amiibo
Mario has always been golden in the minds of his fans. On March 20, Nintendo will launch the Super Mario amiibo—Gold Edition, a shiny gold-colored Mario figure that arrives on the same day as the Mario Party 10 game for the Wii U console. The Super Mario amiibo—Gold Edition will be sold exclusively at 3,000 Walmart stores in the U.S. at launch at a retail price of $12.96.
Nintendo at PAX East with Splatoon and New 3DS XL

Youtube Situation Update

Our YouTube channel is not very…active, to say the least. If you have recently been watching progress on our YouTube channel, you’ll see that it’s not longer called “Decrypted Gaming”. Instead, it’s called “Dan Rivera”. Yeah…
To make a long story short, we’re going to have to restructure and create a new YouTube channel. Which also means that our previous YouTube channel is no longer our official channel.
More news will come out as we understand more about the situation.

Loot Crate “Play” – February 2015
It’s that time of the month…Loot Crate! What are Loot Crates? Loot Crates are boxes consisting of gaming/comic/geeky collectibles/candy for a monthly subscription of $13.37 each month*. Each month’s items add up to a retailed price of about $40+ so it’s definitely a deal to buy Loot Crates if you’re into comic, gaming, or geek gear. To add-on to this and instead of just listing everything, I’ll also list what I found them for retailed online and at the end I’ll add all of it up and see how much I saved from purchasing the Loot Crate. That’ll make things a little more interesting!
First Week of Evolve Infographic
2K and Turtle Rock Studios have culled through mounds of Evolve telemetry data and today released an infographic that examines player engagement and behavior in the 4v1 shooter one week after its launch on February 10. Players around the world showed up in droves to play Evolve, with nearly 6 million matches played through February 18th, totaling approximately 108 years of time played collectively. Beyond player engagement, Evolve continues to remain remarkably balanced, with 51.9% of games won by Monster players and 48.1% of matches won by Hunter teams.

Worlds of Magic Goes Gold
Today, Wastelands Interactive announced that the PC version of Worlds of Magic, the spiritual successor to the classic Master of Magic, has reached Gold status. This news comes exactly a month before its final release on March 19th. They also went on to confirm the fact that it will release onto the Playstation 4 in Q3 2015, with no specific date announced.
The PS4 version will be released by publisher Teyon instead of Wastelands Interactive. Leszek Lisowski, the founder of Wastelands Interactive stated “We’re really happy that we’ve managed to partner up with Teyon to bring Worlds of Magic to PlayStation 4 platform. We believe that we have a true 4X gem in our hands. And we are convinced that having such an experienced business partner is a guarantee that Worlds of Magic PS4 launch will be a success.”
